Sarah Evans is an employment attorney at Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP, who advises and represents employers throughout California, helping organizations navigate complex workplace issues and resolve disputes effectively. Her practice focuses on providing practical legal counsel on employment law compliance, workplace policies, wage and hour matters, and litigation, including the defense of class and representative actions.
Sarah grew up in a small farming community in Kentucky, where she developed a deep appreciation for the importance of neighbors helping neighbors and communities coming together to support one another. She later earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Committed to serving the San Diego community, Sarah previously played a leadership role in the merger that created Forever Balboa Park, serving as the organization’s inaugural Co-Chair and leading its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Working Group. Her community involvement has also included leadership positions with Lawyers Club of San Diego, Border View Family YMCA, and the Crawford High School Law Academy.
Sarah and her husband are raising two children in San Diego. She is honored to support the Food Bank’s mission of ensuring that individuals and families throughout San Diego County have reliable access to nutritious food, believing that strong communities are built when neighbors care for one another.
