A Place for Every Helping Hand

Age Guidelines and Eligibility

We believe everyone has something to give. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or a retiree, there’s a spot for you on our team.

  • Youth Volunteers (ages 11-15): We love seeing families serve together. Youth in this age group are welcome to volunteer alongside a registered adult chaperone (18+).
  • Independent Volunteers (ages 16+): Ready to take the lead? Individuals 16 or older are eligible to sign up and serve independently

How You’ll Make a Difference

What Volunteers Do at the Food Bank

When you volunteer, you’ll jump into hands-on projects that help food move quickly and safely to our community.

Depending on the day and location, you might:

  • Inspect and bag produce
  • Pack food boxes and bags
  • Support off-site distributions and special events
