You can help Mission Fed Credit Union support the Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids Backpack Program during San Diego Hunger Awareness Month!
Throughout the month of September, visit any Mission Fed branch in San Diego County to donate to the San Diego Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids Backpack Program, which provides weekend packages of food to elementary students facing chronic hunger when school meals are unavailable.
A donation of $8 supplies a child in need with nutritious food for the weekend, ensuring they return to school on Monday nourished and ready to learn.

About the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program
Established in 2006 to bridge the gap between home and the classroom, the program offers much-needed nutritional support to students attending Title I schools.
