The latest federal government shutdown is now in effect, and the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is standing ready to assist impacted employees across our region if needed.
This partial shutdown is impacting Coast Guard personnel, TSA officers, and employees in several other DHS-funded agencies, as well as some federal contractors. Should this shutdown be protracted, these workers risk missing paychecks again — deepening the financial ripple effect and forcing families to choose between food, housing, and other essentials.
