For the thousands of local college students working hard to build their futures while facing hunger, our College Hunger-Relief Program is here to help. Serving every public university and community college in San Diego County, the program provides students with consistent access to fresh produce, pantry staples, and essential nutrition.
Each campus site is tailored to reflect the needs of its student body, offering flexible hours and stigma-free environments that normalize food support as a resource for all. The demand is clear. “Since the last academic year, we have seen a 21% increase in total visits to the pantry,” says Aliza Siddiqui, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs at San Diego State University.
Through continued collaboration with campus partners, this program is nourishing futures — one pantry visit at a time.
