COURT MANDATED COMMUNITY SERVICE
The Food Bank strives to maintain a safe working environment for all of our volunteers, particularly since we have such a variety of age groups and backgrounds joining our volunteer projects.
Individuals with court mandated community service hours are accepted by the Food Bank. However, we ONLY accept misdemeanor offenses (traffic violations, etc.), excluding any theft, shoplifting, assault and/or abuse of any nature. No felonies or sex offense charges will be considered for volunteering.
If you have court ordered time, you MUST provide additional documentation, including the specific offense and case number.
The Food Bank will verify the information while your application is being considered. Failure to provide any of the required information will result in immediate rejection of your volunteer application.
LETTERS AND PROOF OF SERVICE
The Food Bank maintains a sign-in/sign-out sheet for all volunteers, but if you need supplementary documentation to verify the hours worked, please bring the documentation with you.
