| GIVE FOOD |
| |
| Hunger does exist in communities of all sizes in the United States. Unfortunately, hunger is a problem that we do not readily associate with our own community. Everyday someone in San Diego County goes to bed hungry. The food you donate can help in a family's struggle to survive and ensure a child's right to succeed. |

Commercial Food Donations
If your company or business would like to donate food, call Will McHenry at (858) 527-1419 x 19. Thanks to the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act passed by Congress in 1996, food donors such as manufacturers, growers and packers, restaurants, corporate cafeterias, and caterers can participate in the fight against hunger by donating non-perishable and prepared foods without the risk of being prosecuted for liability.
No time to actually collect food? Try our virtual food drive. You can help SDFB without leaving the comfort of your chair. |
