| The San Diego Food Bank Receives Bequest
|

The San Diego Food Bank recently received a $100,000 bequest from the estate of a
Food Bank donor. Michael Kemp, San Diego Food Bank’s interim President and CEO
said, “This bequest came as a surprise. We are so grateful for the generosity of this donor
and her heirs.”
Kemp continued, “In most cases, a person will be able to donate significantly more
money through their estate than they would have ever been able to donate any other
way.”
