Four San Diego universities totaling over 74,000 college students will run food drives for the San Diego Food Bank. Their donation will be the first official donation to the San Diego Food Bank's 2008 Holiday Food Drive which will be officially launched at the Hard Rock Hotel on 24 Oct. with Mayor Jerry Sanders, community leaders and college representatives who will be honored at the event. |

PARTY!
The Hard Rock Hotel will host a party for participating colleges and the San Diego Food Bank on Friday, Oct. 24 from 6 – 8 pm. Five hundred guests including local elected officials, students from the participating colleges, and members of the San Diego Food Bank will celebrate the completion of the Colleges Rock Hunger Food Drive and mark the launch of the San Diego Food Bank's annual Holiday Food Drive. |
