SUPPORT THE FOOD BANK WITH AN IN-KIND GIFT

It takes more than food to end hunger in San Diego.

In order to acquire, sort, bag, box, move and distribute over 15 million pounds of food every year, the Food Bank needs trucks, trailers, forklifts, pallet movers, refrigerators, office equipment, furniture, boxes, plastic bags, and much more.

If you have a non-food item that you would like to donate to the San Diego Food Bank, please call the Development Department at 858-863-5129.

Here is a partial “wish list” of much-needed items:

• Fork lift
• Free-standing reach-in refrigerator
• Door flaps for walk-in refrigerator & freezer
• Industrial-size warehouse door flaps
• Scales
• Equipment for re-packing bulk product
• Conveyor belts for sorting/assembly lines
• Plastic produce bins
• Donation barrels with lids
• Refrigerated trailer with lift gate
• Laptop computers
• Volunteer supplies (plastic aprons, caps, gloves, bags and boxes)
• Box cutters
