An exciting new way for San Diegans to help the Food Bank is through a gift that gives back. This holiday season supporters can purchase gift cards for friends and family while simultaneously providing additional assistance to the Food Bank at no cost to them. Gift cards are accepted at over 60 national retailers, restaurants and hotels. The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank will then receive a portion of the proceeds from every card that is sold.
You can find a list of all the participating locations here.
Then just click here to purchase a card and help the hungry this holiday season.
During this holiday season, please consider ordering and even gifting cake pops to your loved ones, co-workers, friends, neighbors, anyone on your gift list! In the months of November and December kCreative will proudly donate 10% of proceeds earned through cake pop sales to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. For every $1 raised, we are able to provide 3 meals to the hungry. Cake pops doesn't exactly fall into the larger categories of the preferred food groups. BUT through cake pops, you can provide a meal or two, or three, or more to people that are in need this holiday season –which should always be the most joyous time of year. Please email kris@goodsbykcreative.com to inquire or place an order.
Since 1978, Vitamin Guy has been providing high quality vitamins and supplements to their customers. They are family owned and operated local business and they believe that businesses have an obligation beyond making money. They believe in supporting their customers, employees and communities by giving back on a regular basis. For that reason, they created, "For the Benefit of All."
Through the FTBOA program, they:
- Provide you with high quality effective products at discounted prices,
- Provide you with the information necessary to make healthy decisions and
- Support the organizations you choose.
When Vitamin Guy products are ordered using the San Diego Food Bank's Discount Coupon** ("SDFB"), the buyer receives an automatic 5% discount off of our already low factory direct pricing. Then, 15% of the purchase price of the products ordered (excluding delivery and sales tax) is donated directly to the San Diego Food Bank.
This is their "small" way of making a "big" difference.
